Asking a member for dues once is awkward enough. Parlor bills members by card or bank account, keeps the payment method on file, and gives each member a portal with their locker, guests and events.

Club billing has a few wrinkles: founding rates, annual dues paid up front, and members who want the bar tab on a different card.

What members see
A portal on their phone. Which locker, how many guest passes, what's on this month.
Their membership. Their tier, and how this year's dues were paid, with the card or account shown by its last four digits.
Their lockers. Cigar and bottle lockers by number, and what's on the shelf, including anything running low.
Their guests. Their guest pass balance, and the guests they've added for a visit.
The club. Tastings, members' nights and releases, and their own profile. They sign in with a private code, so there's no password to forget at the door.
The member file, at the bar
Your best bartender knows every member's pour. When they take another job, that knowledge leaves too, unless it's written down.
Staff search a member by name or number at the bar, the door or on a phone. The favorite pours and cigars from signup are right there, with host notes the last shift left.
Birthdays and anniversaries are collected when a member joins, so "happy anniversary, first one's on the house" can actually happen.
Questions about dues
How do members pay dues?
By card or straight from a bank account, through Stripe, into your club's own account. Bank payments cost the club less to process, which adds up on annual dues.
Does Parlor take a percentage of our dues?
No. Parlor is a flat monthly price based on member count. Stripe charges its normal processing fee on each payment, like any card processor, and Parlor doesn't add a cut on top.
Can a member keep one card for dues and another for their bar tab?
Yes. The payment method for dues and the card behind their tab are tracked separately, and they can be the same card if the member wants.
Can we offer founding rates?
Yes. Founding members can sit on their own rate, separate from standard tiers. How long a founding rate lasts is your club's decision.
What do members see in their portal?
Their membership and how their dues were paid, their lockers and what's inside, their guest passes, the club's events and their own profile. It's a web portal, so there's nothing to download.
